The Friends of Couture story began in 2008 when founder Mark Zander, an avid collector and merchant of all things vintage and nostalgic, devised a plan to bring together the classic and stylish looks from past decades to execute a vintage inspired fashion collection.

Principal designer Jo Matheson was enlisted to create the Friends of Couture look that would take the playful and cute styles from past decades, and translate them into a fun, wearable vintage inspired collection for guys and gals.

“We take a lot of inspiration from classic and vintage pieces, feminine flirty features and strong femme fatale silhouettes intermix with bold colours and beautiful fabrics to create a strong signature style”.
